Humana People to People IT Assistant

To ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the IT environment across all member countries, Humana People to People requires a dedicated professional with deep knowledge of our organisational IT standards and operations. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, safeguarding systems, and supporting both infrastructure and users. By embedding our IT standards consistently, the specialist will strengthen collaboration, enhance resilience, and protect the integrity of our digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with organisational IT standards across all member countries.
• Provide server administration, monitoring, and setup in line with organisational standards.
• Deliver end-user support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain and optimise the organisation’s network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT teams in member countries to strengthen systems and resolve technical challenges.
• Document processes, configurations, and support activities for consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Implement security protocols, including encryption, firewall management, and ERP system monitoring.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Train project technicians in member countries to build local IT capacity.
• Ensure software and hardware standards are met consistently across member countries.
• Manage file, application, and email servers in member countries.
• Support and manage the digital teaching and learning system at teachers colleges in member countries.

The position requires experience from working with IT systems in one of the Humana People to People member countries. Applicants without such experience will not be considered.
